Thanks to everyone who dropped by to run the valves on my TR4A and especially to Mike D. Fun time, except for trying to get that cursed #2 plug back in not to mention my mixing up to wires. The car sounded and ran much better afterward. However, discovered why the carbs couldn't be adjusted properly after I took it over to Oxford yesterday. Vacuum advance and PCV valve need work (as in replacement). So too the linkage. So when the parts are in, a final fix. I may have Oxford look at the clutch slave cylinder as well. I plan a couple of longer trips this season including heading down to Princeton for a week to attend the VTR National Conference. Obviously, want everything sorted out before then.
